Article Encouraging Bequests: Bradley Hills Presbyterian Bethesda MD

We are indebted to the past, to those who precede us. At the same time, we are seeds of the future, for those who will follow. Every member of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church is encouraged to give – by bequest, through various forms of estate planning, or another form of planned gift - a "living legacy" that will provide for the church’s min-istry and missions for generations to come. The gift of such a living legacy is an acknowledgment by the donor that Bradley Hills has been a significant part of his or her spiritual life and that the donor has decided to make a similar impact on the lives of future generations.

These gifts can be large or small and can be made by making a sim-ple provision in a will or in numerous other ways. Such stewardship is the way we respond thankfully to God for our diverse and many re-sources. Sharing our wealth, spiritual and material, is one of the foun-dation principles of our Presbyterian heritage.
