Q&A about PresbyterianEndowment.org
What do you do?
We support planned giving and endowment activities. We research and distribute best practices and tools to our Presbyterian churches and non-profit organizations. We accomplish this through a Membership Program. CLICK HERE for a brief presentation. and regional events. We are lowering all the usual barriers to the church having a planned giving effort?
What problem are you solving?
Missed opportunities for expanded ministry. Despite challenging financial markets, planned giving in the non-profit world continues to increase. In stark contrast, the Presbyterian Church has experienced a rapid and steady decline in planned gifts. READ MORE about the declining Presbyterian planned giving trends. Or you can CHECK OUT GRAPHS of declining trends.
Why the decline?
There is intense competition for the charitable dollar, and most our Presbyterian planned giving program do not have the staff, budget, training or resources to thrive like those of the larger non-profits.

Are you related to the Presbyterian Foundations already serving the church?
While we are independent of the national Presbyterian Foundation and Texas Presbyterian Foundation, we have strong relationships with both. We coordinate our efforts in order to best advance the interest common to us all, namely increased funding available to expand future mission. We are not in the funds management business; rather our mission is to be a resource for materials, policies, publicity and encouragement of generosity.
